Drawing

Alright so i used to draw all the time and was starting to get really good at it, but sadly i quit drawing around 5 years ago, and i decided i would draw something last night from memory and i dont think it turned out that bad, its not really finished but id still like your opinion on it.

Bare in mind this was done in like 45 mins on notebook paper with pen so no erasing

Misao from lucky star.

Im currently also drawing a picture of a girl that i know, i will post it once its finished

  2. It's good, I can't imagine what you could do if you were drawing on a daily basis again. :D

  3. wait... did you say 45 minutes! I hope you mean 45 seconds, not minutes.

  4. Keep it up, drawing seems to be a dieing art with the rise of technology. We need to preserve it the best we can. that is awesome!

  6. Ohooh! :3 Really keep up! :D It doens't look bad at all :3
If you will, then I can suggest a few things :3
Learn real anatomy (bones and muscles), its fun and helps a lot :D (even if you think you wanna just draw anime, it will make your life so easy after a while! Also there are books made by "Loomis" what are really helpful)
Practice drawing real life objects :D gives you a sense of depth and observation :3 Also you learn the fastest this way :D
Practice every day for 15minutes. Just doodle.
But these are just suggestions. I struggled a lot and feel like wasted a few years. After starting to do I started to understand much more and I could draw stuff faster and easier. I'm still bad xD but it makes more sense now.

Anyway followed and can't wait to see more from you :D

  7. Its pretty good for a 5 year reprieve! However, most of the difficulty in drawing lies within shading, clothing folds, and muscle patterns. I'm considering taking up drawing too, though. I like to be a true renaissance man.

    peace, read&love daily

  8. Don't see why you think that's so bad. It's way better then anything I could draw.. The fact that you did it in pen proves you have huge cohenes, mang!

  9. It looks really smooth and well-proportioned, which is something I can never really do. And huge, years-long breaks could be good for drawing, because in that time your perception of objects changes slightly.

  10. Keep drawing. If you can do that without practice, you've got talent
