Ive chossen to just do weekly posts for the next few weeks, not much has been happening in my life and i still dont have a decent video card to be able to record shit but oh well

Hey im sorry that i havnt posted anything in almost a week, i didnt have the money to pay for my internet bill so it was turned off, but its back up and running now!

A few things Ive sent my 4850HD card in for an rma so when that comes back i can finally start recording and commentating games, Ive started a pretty big drawing that is going to take a week or so because im not putting aton of time into it but once its finished i will post it here.  Also has anyone found any good pokemon black and white english roms yet? ive found one but it was hella hard to set up.

Alright so i used to draw all the time and was starting to get really good at it, but sadly i quit drawing around 5 years ago, and i decided i would draw something last night from memory and i dont think it turned out that bad, its not really finished but id still like your opinion on it.

Bare in mind this was done in like 45 mins on notebook paper with pen so no erasing

I went to the movies today and ended up seeing the new resident evil movie, and i must say i really enjoyed it. I'm not going to say it was the best movie i have ever seen because it wasn't. But its pretty high on the list of my favorites, and its worth a watch even if you are not much into the genre of movie.


also if anyone could suggest some anime for me to start watching Ive seemed to be caught up on everything that i'm currently watching.

Id also like to remind everyone that i'm currently looking for people to play hon with at a decent level of play.

Chubby chasers

I recently moved to Colorado and i have noticed that there are a lot of chubby chasers in this state compared to other places that i have lived, at least people are a lot more open about the fact that they like larger people.

That being said I'm like a kid in a candy store being as I'm chubby and I'm a very shallow man when it comes to my women, making it much easier for me to find a good looking girl that likes a larger guy :D

In other news Cyberathlete Amateur League has returned announcing a HoN tournament with the grand prize being a full paid trip to dream hack in Sweden  to play vs some of the best HoN teams in the world. If anyone that is good at HoN is interested and making a team with me leave me a comment with your aim name or name in hon or what have you. Not looking to win, just want to have fun.

In other news i looking for another game to play to replace all this free time i now have because i quit playing wow, if anyone could give me an idea of a great game that will take tons of my free time away i would be very thankful!

Well i found out today i ended up running into that girl for a brief encounter sadly she did not remember me in the slightest. she was still beautiful in every way i remember her in my younger years and i couldn't be happier just knowing that she didn't become a super slut

Balance Changes

We have several balance changes in store. One general change we're making is that friendly units will no longer provide vision after being killed. Enemy units previously revealed will no longer be targetable. Now let's break down the additional balance changes we're implementing.

Maps

We're going to be adding destructible rocks to the Desert Oasis map to make natural expansions easier to protect. In addition, the center map watchtower area is being narrowed.

Protoss

We have two key changes in mind for the zealot: the build time is being increased from 33 to 38 seconds, and the warpgate cooldown is being increased from 23 to 28 seconds. Zealot rushes are currently too powerful at various skill levels, particularly those that rely on rapidly assaulting an enemy base from nearby "proxy" gateways. We feel the window players have to scout for and fend off this rush is too small. We also want to address the problem of protoss being able to dump minerals a bit too quickly with the combination of warpgates and Chrono Boost.

Terran

There are several changes in the works for terrans. Reapers against zerg are stronger than expected. Due to the zealot build time increase, reapers would be a bit problematic in combination with proxy barracks, bunkers, and/or marauders against protoss. Therefore, we have decided to increase the build time of reapers as well from 40 to 45 seconds. Fast reaper + bunker, or fast marine + bunker rushes are problematic against zerg. Although this rush would never outright destroy the zerg player, we feel zerg suffers too much of a disadvantage from either having to cancel the fast expansion, or getting trapped inside the main base for too long, so we are also increasing the bunker build time from 30 to 35 seconds.

Siege tanks in large numbers are performing too well in all matchups. In the mid- to late-game, siege tanks are too dominant against all ground units. We want a small set of light and unarmored ground units to perform better against siege tanks. With this in mind, we're changing the Siege Mode damage of the siege tank from 50 to 35, +15 vs. armored; to correspond with this, damage upgrades will be changed from +5 to +3, +2 vs. armored. This change reduces the base damage of the siege tank against light and unarmored units, as well as the splash damage.

Battlecruisers currently lack good counters from the ground and still perform very well against a wide array of unit types. We're aware that it is not easy to get battlecruisers out for the cost, but at the same time, it is possible in both 1v1s and team games to create stalemate situations to bring them out. Overall, we feel that battlecruisers are too strong for their cost, and the terran-forced stalemate situations are causing less interesting gameplay. We will be lowering their damage against ground units from 10 to 8.

Zerg

Ultralisk damage is being decreased from 15, +25 vs. armored to 15, +20 vs. armored. This reduction is comparable to the changes being made to the battlecruiser and siege tank. Like the battlecruiser, ultralisks are simply too powerful for the cost, even though they are difficult to muster. Also, in combination with other units, ultralisks are difficult to counter from the ground. The ultralisk building attack (Ram) is being removed because the damage rate is too similar to its normal attack, which will be used against buildings instead. When ultralisks target tightly packed smaller buildings such as supply depots, the Ram attack is actually outputting considerably less overall damage than its normal attack, as Ram only hits a single target. "

Thoughts on Protoss changes

This is great news for me being a zerg player, with the zealot change i wont have to worry about being zealot rushed when i only have a few zerglings seeing how zealots demolish zerglings. I also think that chrono boost should be nerfed a tad maybe only be 25% rather then 50 sounds like a good change to me. Other then that i think Protoss are in a good place right now.

Thoughts on Terran changes

The reaper change is also a great thing to hear as a zerg player, because even with winged zerglings (speed tech) its hard to catch and kill well microed reapers early on in the game. The bunker change in my mind was not needed, its really not that problematic for a Zerg player. The siege tank nerf is GREAT news for zerg players, with them doing only 35 damage to light units if you tech armor early it would take two shots from a tank to kill a zergling and it would take 3-4 for them to kill hydras, I feel the tank nerf was well needed. The BC nerf was not needed if anything they needed a small buff.

Thought on Zerg changes

The Ultralisk change is not much of a Nerf, its a pretty decent buff if you happen to get a nydus worm into someones base because the ultras can kill bases a lot quicker now.

This patch will also bring chat rooms into the picture.

Pokemon crystal.

Hey guys thought i would make a post before i started replaying pokemon crystal because i probably wont be doing anything else for the rest of the day. :]

Played HoN today

Well i just got done with a long night of playing HoN and i have come to realize im was MUCH beter at dota then i am at HoN, i dont know what it is. Not much has changed between the games a few new heroes and a few new items. I guess it might be because the graphics are beter and my eyes are just not used to having to last hit a good 3D creep haha.


On a second note, what would you guys think if i started commentating my games i was wanting to do it anyway but do you guys think i would have many viewers?

Void ray rage

So ive started playing zerg in starcraft 2 because they are getting a pretty decent buff because of the other races getting nerfed in the near future (patch 1.2) and i have come to relaize unless i am expecting them to void ray rush me i am fucked. normal i try to counter ground units early on going speed lings banelings and roaches with speed tech and 1 armor upgrade from the evolution chamber. but the thing bad about that i cant attack air. sure ill have 70-90 supply with my ground units by the time they send in 3-4 voids but i cant attack them with my current anti ground build. and the way void rays are they are able to be built so fast that i can scout many times and see that they are going ground and when i dont scout for 3-4 mins i have void rays in my back door.

I feel to make up for zerg low teir units not being able to attack air needs to be made up with the hydra den not requiring a lair much like it was in starcraft 1, maybe move roaches to where hydras are but give them a slight range buff to compensate for them being an extra teir.
